Help problem with Samsung Galaxy Note

Lurker
I usually switch off my phone before charging it but it turns on automatically when it is charged. I try to reboot the phone and try to do it again but in vain. It switches on automatically....This is the problem that I encounter these days....Thank you for taking time to read this and thank you for leaving any suggestion or comments to this problem.....

If mine is off and I charge it the screen turns on and it shows a big battery with an animation to show it's charging but it doesn't boot up. Is yours actually booting or just showing the animation?

Also just wondering why you turn your phone off during charging?

Hello and welcome to the forums, serveryap.

Most modern devices have some sort of on-screen indicator to inform the user of successful charging in progress, most often a meter/battery graphic with percentage indicators.

As the previous poster asks: is the device actually booting up into the operating system after being shut down and then the charging cable attached?
