Problem with screen

I purchased a Nexus 7 2013 some weeks ago but returned it because the touch action on the screen did not seem to work anything like as well as on my old version. If I typed in the same way a did on the old one it seemed to miss quite a few characters.

Does anyone know if this has improved or was my copy just a 'bad' one.

its a knlwn issue. It was not just yours. If you visit xda forums, they have huge threads dedicated to that issue. I would give a shot to a different one. I think its fixed on an all which are on market right now.

Asus had a certain number of devices released with bad screens.
