Help Problem with stock Video Player

Hi just wondered if anyone had same problem with video player. When i play a video, it plays fine, but on videos recorded with the phone, and some others, when the video gets to the end, the whole screen goes black, and after a while says

process.com.sec.android.app.videoplayer is not responding

occaisionally i also get a message saying vlingo is not responding

can anyone suggest a fix?

ive never had this problem, but there's something that usually helps with this sort of bugs.

go to settings, applications, manage applications, All, and go down to 'videos',
click on it, and then clear data, and this might help...
 
Well i tried that and nothing changed, still hangs nearly every time i play a video, even did it when i downloaded MX player and tried that....

I have isolated the problem to videos recorded on the phone itself, the other videos ive transferred to the phone via Kies play and end fine.

Am i going to have to re-flash?
 
sounds like it will solve it...
but thats not too bad, flashing is quick and easy..
but maybe someone else will have the answer.
 
Same problem is here. I am using SGS2 already more than a half year, every thing was all right but about month ago this problem appeared, since than has no idea how to solve it. Tried to reinstall MX Player, erase data, nothing helps...
Is there some thing else than flashing????
I don't want to flash each time I have a problem with an app...
