So when i receive a text message i get three notifications in curtain and three different notifications sounds. I am running handcent and stock messaging app. I can stop stock app and get it down to two notifications but can never get it to one only. please help if you had this problem.

What 2 are you getting notifications for then? I had 2, one for handcent and one for stock, and I turned stock off, so now only one.
