Help Problem with vibrate on Droid X

My phone will not vibrate at all. I've tried everything from changing my settings, the 3rd party apps, and finally a master reset, but I still cant get it to vibrate. Even the haptic feedback won't work, so I feel like there might be a problem with the phone. Does anybody else have this problem with the Droid X? If so, has anybody found a solution? Thanks in advance.

there are some apps to test your vibrate function - tried them yet?

I've downloaded a few such as sound manager and MineVibrationSetting, but they didn't work. It is supposed to test after creating custom vibrations but that never worked. What other apps would I use to test it out?

i'm thinking if those didn't work, then your vibrate is either broken or turned off, aka a problem with the phone's hardware itself
