problem with videos/movies

Ok, so I followed the directions found here:

How to convert videos and transfer them to the HTC Aria - Know Your Cell


I double, triple and quadruple checked the settings.

My videos come out all garbled. sound and video. It plays messed up on the computer too.

I cant figure it out grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Any ideas? Im new to handbrake.

How many movies have you tried? It seems like maybe it's your source media if all your settings are correct. I haven't tried using the Aria as a media device yet so I can't give advice from experience unfortunately.

I tried encoding a video as per those specs and ended up getting just sound on the phone and no video. The video plays fine on my computer just not on the phone. I'll play with it some and get back to you.

Instead of encoding in h264, do the encode with Mpeg-4(FFmpeg)
