Root Problem with VooDoo Rootkeeper

Gracie10

Newbie
I installed the latest update for my Droid Atrix2 and I had already told Rootkeeper to protect root but after the update I open Rootkeeper and hit the restore root and it says it did but unfortunately it did not. Device rooted and Root permission are unchecked all others are checked including protected copy of su so I am not sure what to do now to get re-rooted. I appreciate any help or feedback at this point. Thanks.

Gracie,

By the way, there's a good chance that you do still have root--but you'll need to use an adb shell or something like the Android Terminal Emulator app to verify and "fix" this.

Let me know and I'll try to help walk you through things (OTA Rootkeeper seems to have recently changed where they squirrel-away the su-backup, so we'll have to find that).

Cheers and let me know if you want to try.
