Help problem with weather/clock widget

today i updated my phone to the newest firmware. 2.29.405.2. i'm not sure if this is just a coincidence but after the update, the weather doesn't display the picture of the weather anymore. it only shows my current city. any other city but my current city are all displaying fine but my current city is not displaying anything. the temperatures don't seem right either. there are pics to describe what i'm talking about. as you can see from the first picture, it is not 0 degrees where i'm living. any idea how to fix this? i've already tried a factory reset. i have both location by cell and gps turned on too. please help guys

I got same problem since I did the new update. Running sim free Desire.

I have the same problem. It just started today, but I didn't update firmware. I still have 2.1.

so just making sure, you guys are getting the same problem as described in the pciture? where it just shows the city name but no weather picture? i hope that there is a way to reinstall the firmware

I have the same problem with the current weather widget. I have NOT upgraded any firmware recently.

Did you notice that it shows that the current temperature is 0 ? That is what mine is showing.

I wonder if it is an Accuweather issue, rather than an HTC Desire issue ?

yeah it's weird. so the weather picture doesn't show for you either? i hope that it's not a problem with the device. it's just such a coincidence for this problem to happen right wehn i updated. hope it comes back soon

so did it just happen to you today? was it working fine for you before too? what's your software version?

It did just start today. My version is 2.1-update1.

I had sent an email to HTC asking about the issue, and I just received this response:

"Currently the weather/clock application not updating has become a known issue with HTC and is effecting all Android devices. We are working on resolving this feature, and do apologize for the inconvenience. Once the feature is corrected it will automatically update to the Desire. I again apologize for any confusion that this may cause."

Im experiencing the same thing. Just started today and i didnt update anything.

so if that email is true, it should just update automatically when we press refresh on the weather app right? or would we have to update the widget entirely.
