Root Problem!

I tried to put NeWt's rom on the phone, and it loaded fine, but sticks on a white HTC screen, and now I cant even find the stock rom to revery back too....what have I done and can this be fixed? I cant use the phone at all, as it is stuck on this white HTC screen.
 
Anyone at all help??? I am in major need of info on this. I power the phone on, the HTC screen comes up, flashes off for a second, than the same HTC screen comes back. I waited 2 hours and went back to look at the phone and still a white HTC screen. Did I brick the thing? If not, what can I do? I have went back through recovery and tried other roms with the same result.
 
What about installing a different rom that you know will work? I keep having problems with a newt rom and every time I try I get stuck and have to do that..... Something wierd is going on with my recovery
 
I have decided to try to go back to stock. I can barely use my phone at all and I need it back to the way it was. I tried to reinstall the stock roms, and when I do, they say (bad) installation aborted. Any thoughts?
 
there are directions to relock and run the full ruu in post 2 of the root guide. follow the directions for method #2)"full ruu" method to unroot. http://androidforums.com/rezound-al...ys-noob-friendly-root-guide-start-finish.html

you have made it very difficult for us to help you,as you dont provide much detail in what youve done. following the directions in the other thread i just linked will easily let you install any rom that youd like,if you follow the directions.

but we dont know what youve done,or what what errors occured along the way to arrive at your current situation.

as an example i have no idea what roms youre trying to install,or how youve gotten to recovery,what youve wiped or not,etc.

im assuming that you are trying to install a stock PH98IMG file in recovery,wich will not work,it must be flshed in hboot,after you relock the bootloader.
 
I am running Newt's new XXX one rom. I got the SD card to work now (thanks for the info btw)

I booted into recovery, and wiped everything clean, and went to load the new RUU and it is just saying the file is bad, and installation aborted. I apologize for being scatter brained, I just want to get my phone back to stock. I am sure it is not that hard to do.

I booted into recovery is prolly 95% of the prollems that youre having. this makes me believe you are booting to a permantlyinstalled recovery,rather than launching recovery with the fastboot boot command.

if this is the case,kernels are not being installed,and you will never get a rom to work correctly unless you make some other efforts to install them manually. if youll read thru the sticky above,and learn to fastboot boot recovery rom falshing will become many times easier for you. also please use amon ra for the rezound,not clockwork.

the RUUs you are trying to load in recovery are not meant to be installed that way,thats why youre getting the error. they need to be run as a utility on the PC,or flashed in hboot depending on the type of file. the directions in the second post of the root fuide to run the full ruu will get you back to stock.
 
I am down to "fastboot getvar all" on the command prompt and nothing is happening. I followed everything step by step, and dont know what happened.
