Help Problematic problem with new sd card (instaling apps, vanished apps)

MEO

Lurker
Hello
I am using currently Huawei Honor 4X, Android 5.1 Rooted.

The problem is very problematic to me.

To point:
I started today to using new sd card. I had 2 GB SD Card, that was not enough, so I bought SanDisc Ultra 16 GB SD Card. Probably, I was too rush, and I remove old one strict away (the old one apps was saved on older one but I forgot to copy that to new one - but I coped that before - but the old apps didnt show up again).
and I start to using new one. Everything was fine, even after copying old files to new sd card - problem started to kicking my phone when I tried to install app from Google Store. But I cannot even download anything. Error 492. I checked that, and I realized that, my all files are saving on sd card not internal memory. So I change that - and everything was fine. So I thought is the problem with sd card. Also I cannot install apps from downloaded app from the PC.
I tried to format sd card - nothing happen. Scaned SD card with h2testw. No errors.

Need Help!

Things disappearing from a new micro-SD card, it could be a counterfeit Sandisk. Where did you buy it, cheap from Ebay or something?

Recommend you check its integrity with SD Insight
, and report back what it states.

If it states manufacturer is "invalid" and/or capacity is wrong, then it's a fake. Thing is fake micro-SDs will appear to format OK, and might appear to store data, when in fact they're not.

Weird. I will check that, but it's impossible - I bought that from Curry's PC World...

EDIT - that was a typo in my post: not ScanDisc - but SanDisk...

Curry's PC World should be OK, but check it anyway with SD Insight. Fakes have been known to get into reputable store's supply chains occasionally. If it's something else and maybe a problem to do with way you're using it, i.e. moving apps to the SD with the Huawei, frankly I don't know myself, I've never had to do that.

Sadly I thought someone can fix my problem, thank anyway. I dont think so it can be a fake, I will check that. Weird things happened for sure, actually I tried to install app on SD Card, that actually worked fine, but after I restarted the phone - the app dissapear.

EDIT:
Checked by SD Insight.
Doesn't seems to be a fake. Model SL16G, Bus Location mmc1:0007, Manufacturer Sandisk Corporation, OEM/Application ID is unknown: PT, Product Revision 3.0, CRC7 is OK - Size is 16 GB - SD Card Specification is SD Physical Layer Version 3.0x. Block Devices is - /dev/block/mmcblk1 - 16 GB.

I really need your help guys... Also I realized that, some of saved .mp3 have problem with playing - like they're jumping from 2:00 to 2:30 or they're ending on the some point...

How are you accomplishing this? Installing apps to external storage isn't supported natively on Android - are you using a third-party app?

Btw, your card does indeed appear genuine.
