Help Problems after master reset

I have been having serious data drop issues for 3 weeks or so, and I mean constant. I called Verizon and they told me to go to a store and get a new SIM card. So today I went to the store they did a master reset(without messing with the SIM card) and now I cannot get my Bionic to access my yahoo email through My Accounts and the My Verizon widget will not connect. I didn't have either of these problems before hand, just an assload of data drops. Has anyone dealt with anything like this?
Also, It is still under warranty so if I cannot get it fixed are they going to send me a refurbished unit? I also wondered if there was any chance that I could get a Razr if I have to return it?

There have been quite a few people complaining about yahoo account issues. Many have simply started using 3rd party apps like k9.

It might be a SIM card problem.

Take off the back. Pull out the battery. Make sure the SIM and SD-Ext cards are firmly and squarely seated. Replace the battery. Put on the back. Power on. Maybe you got lucky?

If not I would try a new SIM card.

If you drop the Bionic say on a carpet the shock can loosen the SIM card or SD-Ext card and cause all manner of problems.

Just to answer this part of the question, you would almost surely get a refurbished Bionic as a warranty replacement. There is a very, very small chance that they would be out of refurb Bionics, but not likely, and then they would be as likely to offer you a refurb Charge, Thunderbolt, or Stratosphere as a replacement as a Razr.
