Help Problems getting signal

I just got my Evo yesterday, and I have found it to be a pain in the you know what when it comes to using facebook and such. Much of the time it says it can't connect, it will say this when I enable 4g, and even 3g this is a big problem. it almost seems that when im not on wi-fi at home, i cant get any sort of response from the phone while on the go.

Are you actually in a 4g area? What kind of signal do you get when you have this problem? Have you called sprint about this? They usually can "refresh" your handset and it will try a better connection with the network.

I work downtown in chicago, i dont think the city i live in has 4g. but it seems to be a bit of a problem on the 3g. if if persists, i will call sprint and ask about the refresh. I just wasnt sure if there was something I might have been overlooking causing the problem
