Help Problems loading custom icons

I just bought launcherpro plus and tried putting custom icons in the dcim folder. Well it didnt work and now my phone wont find any pics even pics I take now.
What did I do wrong and how can I fix it. Thanks.

The first thing I'd try to do is clear the data and/or cache for the gallery.apk. Menu >settings >applications >manage applications, then select the "All" tab on top. Scroll down to Gallery, press it and select clear data, if you can, clear cache also.

Have you checked to see if there is anything in the DCIM folder, just to be sure?

If you have, try unmounting and then remounting the sdcard. Go to menu >settings >SDCard and press unmount sd card, wait until it's done and then press mount.
