Root Problems rooting ZVD..help :)

Hi everyone !
I decided to upgrade from ZVB with ginger extreme II with ice cream kangwich theme because i had alot of rebooting. anyway long story short i upgraded to zvd and when i went to reroot it give me this message:

also i tried the windows version with vmware and it also gives me the same answer and my phone never reboots or does anything like its not connected. i have my phone on internet connection with usb debugging. Anyway i really missed being rooted some one please help. thanx

99% of the time you don't have the correct drivers. Try this, LG _USB _Drivers_All_4.9.7.zip - File Shared from Box then connect again.

Ok installed the drivers you gave me and it still gives me the same answer from above.

Do you have adb installed on your computer?

I'm using a mac with os x lion and i have vmware with windows 7. no i believe i dont have adb installed.
