Help Problems since the market update

Since my market has updated for some reason my phone seems to stop background data. its not all the time but everyonce inawhile it stops. for example i try to go on to the market and it says "market needs background data to be enabled" but when i check my settings my background data is still checked off. the 2 ways i foud to fix it is to just unchecdk it then check it back on again or just restart the phone.

i was just crious as to if anyone else has this issue and what the fix was. because i also do not get updates on my espn scorecenter widget now either(im assuming because the background data) i only noticed this since the market update took place. so i didnt know if it was because of that or if it was my phone itself. any help is appreciated
 
Try clearing data on the market, if that doesn't work a newer version has been put out, I don't know if you can install in on a non-rooted phone but I can dig up the thread at XDA with a download link if you would like.
 
i went though and cleared all data so hopefully that fixes it, I will try it a few days and give it the test. if it does not fix it i will let you know. thanks for the help!
