Help Problems since update

Any one had problems with the new update on htc wildfire (not sure what the update was actually called)? e.g things like network problems, apps not working and sd card not working and unmounting its self almost imediately :S

Did you reset your device following the update?

I was just posting to a user in another thread who has issues with the sd card. It is beginning to look like a common problem with this device and this last update.

I'm now thinking that a call to customer support might be the way to start searching for a remedy.. but with a factory data reset being in mind as well.

the phone restarted itself but the start up screen never disppeared then an error box came up saying force close and nothing happened when i pressed it, so i had to restart the phone again.. everything works except the sd card and sometimes connecting to the internet. And with the factory data reset will this delete phone contacts?

Is it just me or has anyone elses text messages been messed up since the update? e.g. notifications not closing once message been read, sometimes messages not even producing a notification when received (sound or visual)

Would you recommend to wait for a stable fix / update then?

After completing the update on my phone the touch screen stopped working, and even a factory reset did nothing to help. Any ideas of what I could do?

I'd advise not to complete this update..
