Root Problems syncing via BT to car stereo

Hello,

I've got an LG Optimus V rooted running 2.3.7

I'm trying to sync it to my sony mexbt300p car stereo and it won't connect. Has anyone else run into this problem? I've set the stereo to standby so it is discoverable but the phone can't find the stereo.

Any suggestions? Pointers?

I've been experiencing BT problems when syncing with anything other than another Phone as well.
Try the following:
Enable BT
(optional) edit the device name
enable Discoverable
set discoverable timeout to +5 minutes
enable fast connections
and scan for devices.

my ov (was running backside at the time) would connect to my dads JAWBONE JAMBOX no problem

This didn't work and I'm stumped. Is there any reason it wouldn't work?

Which rom are you using

BurninIce21,which ROM are you using, this sound like a problem with the ROM. Try installing a different ROM and see if this fixes your problem.
