Help Problems with 4G switching

Hey all. Anyone else having a problem in your 4G area? I'm connected to wifi when I'm at home. I recently went somewhere and the 4G kicked in but was rather slow or wouldn't load. It then switched to 3G. I haven't done the OTA update because of all the random reboot problems others are having. And I want to wait until the official OTA for GB is ready for the TBolt. Anyone have a reason for the problems?

Now I have another issue....it won't stay connected to my WiFi. It'll stay connected for a few minutes and kick back to 4g. Does it basically anywhere I try to get a WiFi signal. It did this last night when I was asleep and completely drained my 2750 mah battery. This is getting annoying.

BTW... WiFi works just fine on my sister's Droid X and my brother-in-law's LG Optimus. Not to mention my laptop and other WiFi connected hardware.

Slightly off topic but why would you not charge the phone while sleeping?

It had about half a charge and I set it to wifi before I went to sleep. I figured I'd reset my wireless router this morning.

Seems to be working now...

1. Turned off wireless on Thunderbolt
2. Under wireless settings I "Forgot" my network
3. Unplugged cable modem
4. Turned off wireless router and unplugged it
5. Waited for about two minutes or so
6. Plugged cable modem back in
7. Plugged in wireless router and turned on. Waited for it to cycle through settings
8. Turned on wifi on Thunderbolt
9. In wireless settings I entered password for network

Et voila! Success!
