Root problems with aahk

HI Guys,

I am running the aahk-12062012 on HTC desire HD. I have rooted one DHD before using the same before.Right now facing a problem. The phone is showing HTC quietly brilliant screen(flashing) again and again.. the process is stuck at "Patching and Backing up misc partition....."

Starting stock recovery the first time to init....

Steps:
1. When you see the ugly red triangle, push/hold vol-UP and then push power to
start stock recovery.
2. When you get to the blue stock recovery menu, choose reboot and push power.

ce after your last factory reset.
--setup : Setup the phone for root, must be done before --root.
--root : Root the phone.
--undo : Remove TacoRoot.

Rebooting into recovery, please press Volume+, Volume- and Power at the same tim
e, and reboot the system.

the flashing again and again is a bootloop,and is part of the taco root exploit that the AAHK is apparently using,and in itself is not a big deal.

if you were running taco root manually,you could stop it with the command:
adb shell /data/local/tacoroot.sh --undo

however,im unsure what to have you do since youre within the aahk and hung at a particular step.

i *think* you could unplug,upen a new cmd window, cd c:\ to the aahk folder,and enter the command(you should see tacoroot.sh in the folder)

have you read the effin manual? does it describe recovery from this situation?

I disconnected the cable but still the screen is flashing again and again... any way I can just get it to previous state. So that I can start fresh?

running an ruu would do it,but that will also wipe your data.

do you have the android sdk set up on your PC?
