Root Problems with admire. :(

I have a samsung admire phone from Metropcs and its fine and all but now every time i press the home button it gives me the option to turn off my phone, turn airplane mode on, or silent mode. Same when i press the search button. When i press the power button nothing happens i cant lock it or anything. Whats wrong? :confused:

Have you flashed any ROMS/themes on it? Because if you have, go into CWM and erase the Cache and dalvik cache, the same happened to me when I flashed a theme on my Admire and erasing the dalvik cache and cache fixed it. Hope this helps

The thing is that the home button isn't working in CWM either. The same thing happened to me a few months ago but then it randomely started working again. but that doesn't seem like the case here. :(
 
This is exactly what happened to me !!!! You can't select anything in cwm recovery, you can scroll but pressing the home button makes the screen go black with the logo in the background. I did a factory reset (through android settings menu) and it made my phone boot loop. I did not find a fix for this , had to replace my admire

My car's horn used to go off everytime i stepped on the brakes. Stopped once and started again. Finally after getting my life threatened by a meathead in a lifted truck, i unplugged the damn thing

Uh... okay? Anyways, after a few hours with this issue it fixed itself. I guess that it's an issue that can only be fixed with time. Anyways, thanks for all the help guys. :)
