Help Problems with any apps???

So i searched around the forums and didnt see any type of posts that related to this thread, sorry in advance if there is.

So I sold my Epic on the bay and bought the Shift. I love Htc and had to have this phone. Compared to the Epic the shift has the keyboard by a +1. Love this phone except for one small thing.

About a three weeks before i bought the shift, i had been using the Sirius Xm app on my epic flawlessly. I am a radio talk show junkie, so i needed my Howard as soon as it became available. However ever since i switched to the Shift the app doesnt work. It logs in, gathers all the channels, but wont stream any data, eventually i get a error telling me there is no data connection on my phone. In which i will go to my browser and it works no problem.

I went to sprint to see if there floor model streamed it and it didnt, got the same results. Called Sirius they told me that it should work.

So i was wondering if any other people are having troubles with apps or data?

Sorry if this sounds like a b*t*h and moaning post but i was just interested

Sprint has something hosed in their proxy server that these phones are suffering from needlessly. Follow advice in that thread, it applies to the Shift too.

As you'll read, you can insist that Sprint fixes it remotely or do it quicker yourself.

And your network speed will increase to boot.

OMG, I'm so glad to read your post. My Stiletto is dying so I was going to get the Sirius app on my Evo to get Howard. Thank God there seems to be a fix for it.
