Root Problems with app install

ok so i did just like i was told i upload apk file to system/app file then i press install and it just says app not installed please help any suggestions

You cannot install an app in the /system/app folder. If you place a system application there it will essentially auto install. What are you trying to do?

ok so found this thread and saw some apps that i want UPDATED 12/09/10 Froyo Themed Apps & Themed Live Wallpapers Bundle - xda-developers so i did what the threads told me to do and nothing works i installed framework in forlder and also apps in system app rebooted phone got nothing so he made flashable version and i flashed in clkwrk recovery and still no apps

Have you tried a file manager like Astro? Astro will see the apk and you just select it and install it. Give it a go and let us know how it works out.

Looks like (from the XDA thread) that he got the first part.

OP - try what lviv73 says in post 19 over there and see if that helps you out.
