Help Problems with boost max plus

My wife and I both recently purchased the boost max plus. I'm not having any major issues with mine, but hers has gone into a bootloop twice. Both times she was not using the phone. It would say Android is optimizing apps and it would go through all the apps and instead of bootingx it would just do the same thing over and over. We did a factory reset, fast forward to two weeks later and its done it again. We paid $200 each for these phones, and factory resetting each time something goes wrong is simply not an acceptable solution. Anyone know what could be causing this, or how to fix it?

If the device was recently purchased, are you still covered under warranty? You're right, constant factory resets are not an acceptable solution. I'd try to get the device exchanged. There could be a bigger underlying cause such as a corrupted partition on the device. It'd be worth getting that taken care of now, as opposed to "band-aid fixes" until it's too late.

Boost gives you two weeks to return or exchange a device that was purchased online. We are past that deadline. But I think I may have figured out the problem. Android system webview is an app that allows apps to display web pages without opening the browser. It has been known to cause issues such as system crashes. I have had the app disabled on my device since day one, and have not had any issues with my phone. My wife did not have the app disabled before, but she does now. Google was supposed to have patched the app by releasing an update through the play store, but reading online, users who installed the update are still having issues. I am not 100% positive it was the problem, and won't know for sure unless her phone acts up again but I do know the app is known to cause problems so its likely that it was the source of her issue.
