Root Problems with Froyd Villain

I have FroydVillain 1.7.2 and i have some problems. Some apps just randomly close. My stock browser doesn't work and keeps closing down.
Also,I was wondering if i could get android 2.2 apps on it from the market.

You could be running out of memory. How many widgets do you have installed?

Also,I was wondering if i could get android 2.2 apps on it from the market.

With FV you should be able to see and download any apps that require 2.2 already.
