Root Problems with internet, some apps, and going to home screen.

I rooted about a week or two ago, my EVO worked fine up until yesterday. Everytime I go to the home screen I get the HTC screen followed by a loading pop-up. When I use the internet the app crashes and gives me the HTC and loading pop-up. Only root things I installed were wifi tether and KeyboardManager. Any ideas what is wrong?

On a side note, can I update OTA while rooted?

what rom are you on? try and wipe dalvik cache and cache in recovery

edit:NO!!!!!!!!!! NEVER ACCEPT AN OTA WHILE YOU ARE ROOTED

Yeah, sounds like you have some corrupted software. Worst case scenario, you'll have to flash a new ROM
