Help Problems with latest Chrome update

Just downloaded a (big) update to Chrome and noticed immediately that the text seems fuzzy (say, In BBC website). I compared with the stock browser and that definitely seems sharper - I think it's that the colours are slightly less saturated on Chrome now.

Also, Chrome will not now let me view Hotmail in desktop mode, so it's no better than the stock browser in that respect.

Looks like I'll have to ditch it.

Anyone use a better browser? Or is there a way to revert to the previous Chrome version?

I use the default browser anyway, just because it's more suited for Note.

Care to upload a screenshot of this fuzzy text?

Also, have you tried just waiting a few seconds for the text to clear?

As for Hotmail, I dunno, what do you mean it won't let you, is the option just gone?

Finally, I'd recommend the Hotmail App. Was shit when it came out but it's really cleaned up now.

Thanks.

I'll try to organize a screenshot comparison some time - hopefully it will illustrate what I mean.

I can request desktop view in the browser settings and this still works for many sites (eg BBC) but it has stopped working for Hotmail (it did before).

Must check out the Hotmail app but it won't solve the fuzzy text (no, waiting doesn't solve the problem).

Been looking at Dolphin and it seems good. Just a case of getting used to things all over again. That's the problem with updates - everything goes well then little things change unexpectedly.

Cheers.

I've given taking a screen shot a go

EDIT: not really sure if you can see any difference

Thanks for doing that.

There's a very clear difference to me. The text on the right is very 'soft' in comparison, no question.

What could be causing that? I can't imagine that it's only my tab.

Cheers.
