Help Problems with mic?

Something might be wrong with my phone's microphone. I've been told today several times that i sound muffled, like my hand is over the phone. I have to yell into the phone in order for anyone to hear me. This just started today, I don't know what might be wrong. I'm going to run by my local store tomorrow but wanted to see if this has happened to anyone here first.

So after spending 48 hours on and off the phone with Verizon they are finally sending a replacement. I'm frustrated that I had to spend two days trying to assure Verizon that it was indeed a hardware issue and not a network issue. They actually wanted me to wait another two days, just to make sure. Ugh! So let's hope this works!
