Problems with Moto G

So the phone is starting to give me problems. From time to time, the screen shows an enlarged and fractured icon and I have to reboot the phone to get it back to normal. Tonight, I pressed the apps button and the screen came up with no icons for the apps or for widgets. After moving from the home page and the apps page about 20 times, it came back. And the new email flashing notification light works when it feels like, most of the time it doesn't feel like it. So, time to send it back?

My philosophy is that if it's under warranty and it's not working right I want it repaired/replaced at no cost to me. I did that for my customers when I owned cellphone stores, and I expect the same thing now that I'm a customer. I might try to figure out (in my head, not messing the phone up) what the problem is, but that's just me. They'll usually not tell you what the problem was, they'll just replace the phone.
