Help Problems with Moto Milestone

I got a Moto Milestone xt720 on the 24th, I am moving from a Blackberry Curve and am having a love hate relationship with it so far.

Yesterday it began acting really funny, wouldn't respond so I took the battery and sim out, reinstalled and restarted. All was fine until it went dead last night, plugged it in and now says "Removed SD Card, Install a new one." I can use the phone to make calls so I don't know what is wrong.

My second issue, the charge. My BB could go all day and some of the next on a single charge. This darn thing was plugged in for 12 hours, overnight, taken off at 10:30 am and died 100% at 8pm. 9.5 hours. Is this normal?

Im ready to throw the darn thing out the window!!

Thanks in advance

I went from the Never-Die BB to the Milestone about 6 months ago and I get about the same battery life. I have two friends with the same battery issues with the Droid on Verizon in California. We just make sure there's a charger in the car or one handy for an outlet somewhere.

IDK. To me it's a small PITA for what the phone is compared to the BB.

I also own a Jeep. It's new, and I love it, but like all Jeeps it has issues. Jeep lovers have a mantra, "It's a Jeep thing..". We put up with the minor crap because we love the vehicle for the sum of the parts.

I still love my Milestone:D even when it decides to reboot for no particular reason. LOL!
