Root Problems with new ROM, Need advice

Hey Guys and Gals,

I've recently rooted my HTC Incredible and am now using CWM to download different ROMS. Ive recently installed a new rom, which brought me up to 2.3.7, and since the phone has been acting up.

When I turn on wifi I loose the 3G icon, and I am having great trouble getting signal for making and recieving calls, with wifi on and off....
I am worried that I will not be able to use my phone and recieve calls...
Rebooting helps the phone find a signal, but after a few minutes I loose signal, have no 3G and 1 bar and cant make or get calls...

I am worried I may have gone too far with the mod and want to know if there is a way to fix the problem or to revert bacfk to something that will work better with the incredible.

All help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Bryan

What is the name of the ROM you are running? A complete manual wipe using clockwork recovery (wipe data, cache, dalvik) and reflashing the ROM directly from clockwork may help.

I uploaded Peter Alfonso's recent build GPA19 after I uploaded GreenRom Project Presents CM7.....
Kernel 2.6.37.6-cyanogenmod+
Baseband 2.15.00.07.28
Android Version ADR6300

I also can not open into hboot anymore... Holding down vol down plus power only powers up the unit...

My 3G connection will be fine when I boot the phone, and the device will recieve email etc but will not allow me to send out calls. When I reboot it will allow calls, but only for a few attempts before I loose connectivity. After that point, when I dial out, I do not connect and the call is automatically timed out and terminated after about 20-30 seconds of no connection.

The phone also ask if I want to make internet calls, which are bnot supported by verizon.

Thanks Again,

Bryan

I'm not familiar with that rom, but does it have the fast boot option like the newer sense roms? I know to disable it in sense it's in Menu -> Applications

Have you tried pulling the battery, putting it back in, and then trying to get in to hboot?

Not sure on the rest of your problems, but when you connect to a wifi network, the 3G icon will disappear because you're no longer using it for data.
