Slacker is satellite radio, not (re)broadcast--it isn't conventional radio stations. It provides mixes of music that, with the subscription level, you can personalize by telling it artists/songs you like and it collects similar stuff--kinda like the iTunes genius, but it doesn't have to be stuff you already have, so it'll find stuff that's similar to what you like but may be entirely new to you.Tune In Radio...thats the best I have found so far....I have never used slacker radio and not sure if both are same....but TuneIn radio works really good for all the local stations and stations from all over the world.
I am using to hear radio from UAE and India, while sitting in US.

Of course you're right. I misspoke. The problems with Slacker remain. Can anyone help?Actually, I don't think Slacker is satellite radio. It's like Last.fm or Pandora. No satellite involved.
I have a Droid 2.2
