Root Problems with Titanium Back Up

[Rain Maker]

Hey fellas I'm new to rooting, my buddy Outlaw71 got my phone rooted via Unleashed last night. Now I'm trying to download TiBU off the market, but it's saying it can't obtain root... what's up with that? I've dl'ed several root apps that have all worked. I have busybox.

So why won't TiBU work? Any ideas?

Down load terminal emulator and type in su ... I will say if u have it or not... if it says no.. then go to your boot loader and see if it says "s-on or. S-OFF.

Yeah, you do need to verify you have root, but the error that TB shows is a bit misleading. It's probably telling you that you don't have busybox installed. In TB, press the "problems" button and it will have you install busybox. Once that is done, assuming you do have root, it will work.
