when i try to check for software update even though i know thee isn't one it gives me this message DM initialisation is not ready.Check network or SIM card. any ideas just want to fix it before (if) they release an update

btw the phone is rooted ,can side load apps ,has one click lag fix

Sounds like you're using a task killer.

By the way: OCLF is dangerous and not recommended. All too easy to get a corrupted device.

how do i get rid of the lag fix without doing more damage ,and do you recommend another one

You can remove the lagfix by using the feature built into OCLF.

The problem with "lagfixes" is they are serious and somewhat dangerous solutions to what is unfortunately a legitimate problem. The problem is real but the fixes are ugly.

If you want to try and address lag on a stock system, there's no pretty or safe solution.

If you want a clean and elegant lagfix, you have to flash an entire new ROM that does it properly and has ext4 baked into the kernel itself... but that opens a whole new can of worms, risks, and issues. Hacking your phone with custom ROMs is a much-more intrusive thing that requires a higher skill-level. You need to do more, you will introduce new bugs, and you need to stay on-top of new versions as they're released (almost daily).

So you need to weigh the risks and decide what you're comfortable with.
