Help Problems with voice to text

Hello,
I really enjoy the voice to text feature on the skyrocket and for the most part it works great. I have this one weird problem. Any time I have had my headphones on for any reason, voice to text or not, and unplug the headphone voice to text will not work, neither will Google voice search. I have learned that if I reboot the phone it all comes back. This happens every time I plug in the headphones doesn't matter what kind I've tried several. One more note voice to text does work through the headphones. Is this a bug or my phone?

i'm running 2.3.6 and cannot duplicate that issue on my skyrocket.

Thanks, I'm running 2.3.5 phone is less than a month old. I checked for soft ware updates and it said up to date.
