Last year I got an HTC Wildfire in England and unlocked the network in order to use it in Colombia... About six months later I got a notification about an OTA update of the mobiles OS... I tried to install it, but I ended up damaging the installation...after three hours of rebooting and having a white screen with the HTC logo on it, I decided to remove the battery and now I know I killed the installation process...
Right now, I have my mobile with the hboot updated but without any OS in it... I can not use most of the USB tutorials due to the system's absence... I have tried using a gold card but the guides are only for hboot 1.01.0001 or prior to the one that I have...
I managed to create a goldcard.. but, then again, the problem is the hboot of the mobile...
Taking the phone back ton England in not an option at the moment due to budget problems.. and sending it by standard mail... no thanks!
