Help probs with sms

hey
just wanting 2 ask, my msgs keep sticking wen i send txts, send them and i get up activity messages(in application messages) not reponding!, and ask me to force close or wait.
Also trying 2 delete my msgs in my inbox, doesnt delete them n takes ages as well.
is this why my fone running slow and sticking.

be grateful if anyone could tell me, oh i have a htc wildfire.

I was having the exact same problem two days ago and nothing was helping. It seems to be ok now, I was able to delete texts and it's not force closing anymore. I'm not sure what the problem was? I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it was just a fluke. I'm glad I am not the only one. I was ready to throw my phone out the window.
