processor question

Hi all , didn't know where to ask this question so I am sorry but as a g3 owner I tht I'd try here , think I know the answer but a 2.2 GHz quad core processor is faster than a 1.4 GHz quad core processor ......right ???? Or does it depend on different factors ???? Cheers

It depends on a lot of different factors, but in general, 2.2 is greater than 1.4 so unless you're comparing apples and oranges.

Can you be more specific about what you want to really know?

Yeah sure , basically the mother in law wants a new average size phone , I've recommended a Sony xperia z1 compact , has a 2.2 GHz quad core processor or an s5 mini 1.4 GHz quad core processor , she won't have a g3 as its too big lol my wife has the xperia and loves it ...
