Checked out proclip's site today and they now have a Droid holder for their auto mounts. I've never owned a proclip yet but I have heard nothing but good things about their mounts and holders. Put my oder in for one.

I really want this but man $73.00 after all is said and done.. That's really pricey for a cell phone holder.

Go with a Bracketron. Bracketron : Device Holders
I've got this one: Bracketron : Mobile Grip-iT Universal Holder for $20 that I use in a vertical position. Clips into the dashboard vent and works just great with a Droid running GPS. Very stable.
I used it for 2 years with my Treo, too.

Ditto on that Bracketron. I've been using one for my iPod for years!

This. Got mine for $25 shipped from VZW. Works great.
I've got a Bracketron too - love that it swivels from portrait to landscape easily.
I didn't want to use a suction cup mount, so I modded the 'cupholder' version to mount instead to the 12V jack in my car. I use my cupholders all the time for, well, cups, and in the northeast, I want my heater vents to heat the car, and not my Droid.
