profanity while texting

come on, admit it... we all need a few colorful metaphors while texting but my ****ing Razr MAXX won't let me say **** it! or **** off!

any way to turn off the PG-13 filter? I need my ****'s every once and a while!

Well, if you go into Language and Input - Voice Search - and unclick Block Offensive Words, that may help you out a little, on texting I have to add my "colorful" terms to the library. After that they always appear when I Swype a text. Meaning I have to tap out the word, it will ask if I want to save to the library.

Back in the day where pagers had just gotten text abilities I called the service to leave a message to a colleague that I was stuck on the most awful traffic jam on the M6 North of Birmingham (a notorious traffic black spot in the UK). I was rather surprised when the operator told me my message could not be delivered as dictated. My entire message was "Stuck on the highway to hell. Will be late for the meeting. " Apparently hell was a bad word to transmit across the British airwaves...

mine does the same but my droid x allowed me to swype in whatever i wanted after it learned.

my single biggest gripe about the phone is the stupid text filter.
