Help Profile picture in texting page is gone

For some reason my profile picture from Facebook that shows up beside my text messages isn't there now, all that's there is the default no image thing.. Any ideas?

It used to be there ever since I got the phone.

As far as I'm aware, you'll only get a pic if your handset is linked to your facebook for HTC Sense account.

Have you removed that?

It tried sync earlier but said that sync was having problems and would be back soon. Maybe the cause?

Okay, so I've been trying to sync throughout the day with no previal. I don't know what happened, but it's really annoying. I know it's not a HUGE issue, but, I'm one of those people that once something changes, I'm irritated.

Basically, this is what my screen looks like:

Except, for friends, their Facebook profile picture is there, and mine is the blank default image... I just don't understand why this would just start happening.

If you goto the People app, select your profile at the top, then menu>edit, click on the blank image you should have a drop down to select an image??

I tried that, but it only has Gallery, Camera, and My Profile. But the my profile one is just the default no image thing.

I figured it out; I went Settings -> Accounts & Sync -> Facebook For HTC Sense -> Remove Account. After I did that, I just recreated my account and everything synced just fine.

Just thought I'd share my solution in case others have this issue; apparently it's not uncommon.
