Help Program Versions?

I am used to clicking an "about" link in help or some such to find the version of a program I have installed. For some reason, how to do this in Android has managed to elude me. Where do I see the versions of my installed programs and apps?

1. Settings

2. Manage Applications

3. Click on the specific application

4. Right under the app title, you will find the Version #

Thanks. I like that I don't need to be in the app itself to see what version I have.
