Programs disappeared?

Not sure what happened, I was trying to install the HTC sync and now all of a sudden none of my downloaded apps show up on my program screen. They are still on the phone and I can get to them from the "my downloads" "open" but not from the program list. When I install a new app it doesn't show up either but I can get to it through the same process. Just got the phone and still running 1.5. Any thoughts?
 
Try updating your profile, and then reboot, and try again and see, report back
