I really doubt it. Rooted phones mean that the movies can be easily copied, ie. piracy of movies.

The Rose does have a good point. Looks like there should be other movie rental options out there somewhere as an alternative for rooted devices.

Ive tested and can play a movie on the unrooted device but can't on my rooted phone.

I know blockbuster worked when I had my rooted droid X, but I think you have to be on Verizon to use it.

Invite only, eh? Now we know who to blame for all the games. I wonder if all the repeats means that some developers rejected the invite which meant Google couldn't fill up all the slots.
