One difficult thing I've discovered is that the stock text messaging app doesn't properly thread incoming texts that are addressed to multiple people. It appears as though each message is converted to MMS from the sender so I end up with multiple conversation threads from each person all marked Multimedia Message, which then take longer to download.
The downloading part is probably unavoidable, but is there a way to get the conversations to all show up in one stream rather than spread out among multiple people?
