Proper Size for Wallpaper Pictures

Another question.........whenever I set any photo from my gallery as the wallpaper the picture is either too large or distorted or fuzzy. Does anyone know the correct size a photo should be "shrunk" too in order to plainly appear as a wallpaper on the Electrify?

Holy shit this ^ I am going nuts from it. Never had this issue on past phones.
