I have a 1st generation MotoX. I hope this is the correct forum as this was the only forum listed for Moto X.
This is a used phone that I bought on the internet. It worked fine for several months and then the proximity sensor went crazy. If I get anywhere near the prox. sensor, it will blank the screen. It does not lock the phone as the screen returns when I move away from the sensor. It makes it hard to use the camera or other features. I stopped at the local ATT store, and they seem to think it is a hardware fault. I have looked at all the settings and options but have found nothing that seems amiss.
