Help Proximity Sensor Issue

Hello Everyone,

I have Note2 (I317) purchased from Rogers, Canada. Phone shows dim red LED light on. I have read few threads and tried few things to make sure that dim red led light turns off. Its proximity sensor which is suppose to come on when u place a call and then it should turn off automatically. On my note2 it would stay on continously. I have tried turning off the phone as then turning on and light would go away for few hours and it comes back on by itself. All montion features are turned off.

Could you help me to find out how i can turn off?

Go to your dial pad and hit the menu button it should bring up the settings and choose call settings make sure you have it set to auto.

There is option Auto screen off during call which is checked.. is that you talking abt?

Yes...thats the one I'm talking about.

that's already checked and the dim red light still stays on. Am i suppose to uncheck it?

Try unchecking it see if it turns off, if it does then check it again.

Are you talking about the LED for notifications? or a red LED you can only see in the dark? It could also be the sensor for the quick glance and smart stay feature.

Do u know how i can disable those options i.e. quick glance/smart stay

I have turnned off motion feature already and light still shows.

Do you know how can i change those shortcuts on lock screen (i.e. phone dialer, chat, google, web browser,camera)

They are at the botton of the lock screen, which I want to change to different short cuts?

I cant play flash player videos on my note2. Is there a way to make it work?
