Pure music widget

Ditto here on the error.

Btw, disregard inbound logcat concerning non-working play/skip buttons. I'll test Beta3 and see if the problem continues. Album art is also hit-or-miss for some reason. It often displays in the Music app but not in the Pure widget.
 
yeah got the same error on last update. can we get the buttons to be the same color as the text? With the transparent and lighter colored skins the buttons are gray or black and hard to see.

Did you try changing the color of the text? It gives that option when you are configuring the widget.

The Play and Skip buttons still don't function for me in Beta3.

The button colour doesn't alter to match that chosen for the widget text.

Tapping the title/artist text causes an FC pop-up. The widget doesn't appear to actually close though, and it only seems to happens if you've selected the "Action/Configure" menu prior to doing so.

Let me know if you want a logcat and I'll post it in.

That's odd. I'm not having those issues at all. The only problem I'm having is the album art not showing up in the widget, but the Koxx (the dev) said it was b/c of my low memory.

This is normal.
Icons are not text.
To change icons and background, you have to change skin.

Very interesting. I have not been able to test with a HTC Sense handset. It may lead to big difference.
Yes, I need a logcat after a force close to understand the problem.

If there is a way to do that are you going to? It's not a big deal, at least to me, but it would be cool.

Btw I freed up some memory in my phone and the album art is showing up flawlessly.
 
I've killed all background apps, rebooted, and said 3 Hail Marys. Still no cover art or any text appearing (tried changing test color and applied differnet skins).

No, it is not possible to change graphics colors to match text color.

You have to use skin for that.
But you'll see, you can do wonderful things with skins :)
And you can edit them by yourself to change icons colors if you want !

And remember, covers didn't appear by miracle. They have to be on your memory card in the music folder (as JPG or PNG), and if possible with 'front' in the filename (not a big deal, if it doesn't find 'front' it takes the first JPG/PNG).

That may solve one mystery. All my covers are encoded in the mp3 files (no jpg in the directories but they do appear in my music players). Still can't figure out why no text is showing even using the defaults).

All copied. It's still doing the FC thing and the Play/Skip buttons still don't work after uninstalling, rebooting and reinstalling Beta3. I'll get that logcat to you asap.

I'll have a look to see if I can get covers from MP3 ID tags.
