Pure music widget

Same issue on my eris (I turned off the Sense UI - using Home [stock android UI]).

Also loving your Pure Cal Widget :) Installed it once I found that it would work with the eris. Seemed like a month or so ago it wouldn't...

For Pure music, I may have a solution for Sense devices. I'll push an update in few hours.

I think I'll add a post on this forum to grab new ideas for Pure calendar and Pure grid calendar :)
 
Looks promising but it doesn't seem to work with the Behold II.

Could it be because Samsung uses their own proprietary music player instead of stock 1.5?

can you send me the APK of the samsung music player ?
 
play/pause/next works on eris now...yeah! album art still not there. all my aa is embedded in songs, dunno if that makes any dif. would think id tag would retrieve it though. BTW when you first place the widget it displays "NONE" under song area untill you press the play/pause then it shows current song. don't know if it is refreshing that info on initialization of the widget or not?

can you send me a logcat after pressing play on a title where you are SURE that there is an album art ?

sorry Koxx...would love to, and like i said earlier i hope to be at that point soon but, logcat is above my newb knowledge right now. i am just installing this on my device vs an emulator. if i need the sdk installed then i wont be able to help you for now w a logcat. if i can gen one from the device then let me know and i will do what i can but as i read it logcats come from the emu.

Im just a graphic artist who wants to make some cool android stuff.

You just have to install 'log collector' from the market to send a logcat :)
 
i got a logcat for you if you want another. cant find an email for you in profile. let me know if you would still like it.

BTW do you know if there is a way to do fast forward, rewind, and bookmarking commands?

really? the id covers for all the individual songs? im only getting the one alubm cover i have in my sd card under music on my G1. im using the beta latest the update 5 that koxx gave us.

Either the app can interact with external application (like stock android player), either not (like Samsung).

But if you can find and run the stock player, it may work (for example the Android 2.1 player).

which android version are you using ?
I don't know if it works with all versions yet...
same thing, send me a logcat just after a 'play' on a song where you are sure you have a art tag.

ive got cyanogen 1.6 and i... dont know what a logcat is... and the one album cover i have just shows up and never changes./
 
I'd like to make a request for all of your widgets. Can you make an option in the app to show which widgets sizes are shown in the add menu? I know there's another app I had installed that gave the option to show which sizes are shown, if I can find it again I'll post back and let you know to show an example.

sorry, but right now, I focus on usefull things. And it really doesn't seems me a mandatory function... :(

EDIT : By the way, it is very incompatible with Sense device and there moving widget IDs
