Push Email In JB

the stock email on JB doesnt seem to push new ones, they just appear when synching. is there any way to change this so that when i receive one, it appears right away and not the next time it synchs?

I think in JB you need to have your global sync option on, not very good if you only want to sync one thing tho but it seems this is how it is now, check your settings to see if that is switched off
